Mid-1920s Heated outdoor London lido.
The open-air lido in Bushy Park, Hampton, West London, is one of few heated outdoor swimming pools in the UK to be open year-round. The pool was first proposed in 1914; however, the first world war delayed construction until 1922. The entrance to the pool is via a very sixties-looking building, which must have been added during a mid-60s upgrade. The site was closed in 1980 but was one of the first UK pools to be rescued by the local community, who raised over £60,000 to save the pool.

Review
(70/100)
It's outdoor and heated in the UK, what more do you need? Open throughout the year, public swim sessions daily and a very reasonable PAYG entry fee. Make a note of the 36m length if you're using a swim watch / pace clock!
